My name is Maarten van Rulo, and my journey in Portugal began at the age of 13 when I moved here with my parents. Growing up and attending local schools allowed me to become fluent in Portuguese, which has been invaluable in my career.

My parents owned several properties in Portugal, which they both rented and sold. This early exposure sparked my interest in real estate, and in 2015—despite having trained and worked as a kitchen chef—I found myself drawn into the property business.

After spending 10 years gaining experience with other real estate companies, I am now excited to begin my own adventure with my own agency. My goal is to help clients sell or buy their dream property, guiding them through an important new chapter in their lives—often in their own language.

Outside of work, I dedicate most of my time to my wife, our two children, two dogs, and a cat. We enjoy traveling, hiking, and discovering new restaurants. I also find joy and relaxation in tending to our vegetable garden or taking my motorbike out for a ride.
